Learning the Crossfit Movements: Deadlift
The deadlift is the king of compound exercises as well as the foundation of the sumo deadlift high pull and the med ball clean.
Compared to any other movement, it’s hard to beat the deadlift for a strength-building, muscle-gaining move. In fact, no exercise works more muscles simultaneously than the deadlift.
Think about it, to move the bar from the floor you need a solid foundation, a super-strong core, great grip strength, conditioned arms, shoulders and back. It’s a full-body move.
